Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions apply to every contract undertaken by Flowers by faith. Changes may only be effective if agreed by Flowers by faith. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

1. As a commitment of our personal service, consultations and quotes are provided free of charge.

2. All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of the quotation being written. Flowers by faith will attempt to contact you within the 14 days to secure the date. Once the date is Secured, we will discuss the quote in more detail.

3.  Quotes are only confirmed by receipt of a non-refundable deposit between £100.00 - £500.00 for weddings and 30% for events. The deposit confirms you understand the terms and conditions. Your date is not secured until we have received clear payment of the deposit.

4.  Prices quoted are subject to change based on your final decisions and any additional items added after the quotation.    

5. We reserve the right to apply an administration charge of £20.00 per quote, to re-calculate a quote if we have already completed 3 quotes or if radical changes to the original floral designs are being made. 

6. Payment and final details will be required in FULL 6 weeks prior to the event date. At this point the quote can only be reduced by 10% of the order. The non-refundable deposit will be deducted from the final invoice. Payments can be made via BACS, we do not accept cards or cheques. If information is received later than this date, we retain the right to use available stock and designs to fit the information we have on file for you. 

7. Cancellation by the client will result in the forfeit of the deposit and any monies paid to date. We will endeavour to accommodate a new date, if this is not possible the deposit and monies paid will still be non-refundable.  This applies to complete orders and individual items on your order. The deposit cannot be used for part of the order. The full balance will be due for cancellations made by the client for any event within 6 weeks or 50% within 12 weeks of event date. The payment will be due within 14 days of notifying Flowers by faith. Invoices that are still not settled within 30 days of issue, will be sent to an external debt collection agency with fees of £250+ being added to the account to cover costs.

8. It is you the client’s responsibility to check all details on the quotation, ensuring quantities, flower types, colour choice, supply a colour Swatch, arrangement descriptions and delivery/venue addresses are correct.

9.  It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all dimensions, colours are correct at least one month prior to event date. Flowers by faith will take no responsibility for incorrect measurements resulting in insufficient equipment brought along as a result of incorrect dimensions. We will not refund or be responsible after the event once we have had a signed quote from the client. Flowers by faith should be contacted within an hour of delivery, should an issue arise.

10. Hired items such as candle holders, candles, vases, urns, metal candelabras, chair covers, sashes starlight back drop, lights, uplighters etc, (apart from the fresh flowers) are supplied on the basis of hire and at all times belong to Flower by faith.

11. The contract for the hire of goods is between FBF and the client, not the venue unless goods are being hired directly by the venue. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that the venue is clearly instructed so that the terms and conditions are met. FBF will charge the Hirer for any costs due to terms and conditions being broken. It is then the responsibility of the Hirer to reclaim any of these costs from the venue or third party if the venue or third party was at fault.

12. Flowers by faith will inform the hirer within 14 days, in writing of any damages or missing items on the order. The hirer has 7 days or sooner from the date of notification to return any missing goods. After 7 days FBF will deem any goods not received back as missing and charge at full replacement cost plus VAT and delivery to FBF. Any charges will be deducted from the refundable security deposit or where value exceeds the refundable security deposit an invoice will be issued to the hirer.

13. A £150 or 10% Non-Refundable Security Deposit, whichever is greater, is payable in addition to the hire charges on all hire bookings, to cover minor shortages and damages to hired goods. This will be due for payment one month prior to your event and will be returned once all hired stock has been checked back in at flowers by faith.

14. Security deposits minus any deductions will be returned upon collection or return of goods. After collection, please send by email to flowersbyfaith@ymail.com the booking reference, Your full name, account name, sort code and bank account number you would like the refund to be sent too. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of details being received. Please do not send prior to your event.

15. The delivery, set up and waiting time to each address is chargeable.

16. Flowers by faith will not be responsible for injury or damage to any persons, buildings or property sustained arising from our goods under hire.

17. The Carpet Aisle Runner is for indoor use for a ceremony aisle only. Use outside or for any other purpose than that of a wedding aisle will result in deep cleaning charges or full replacement cost being charged to the hirer. 

18. It is the clients responsibility to provide a full and detailed floor plan  access/entrance ways parking fees and fire exits prior to set up.

19. Flowers by faith undertake to supply the freshest sustainable quality of flowers and foliage available in the colours requested and specified. We endeavour to re-create the flower designs you have chosen as accurately as possible, however availability and seasonal changes in flowers will occasionally affect the designs and cost. Any substitutions will be matched as closely as possible, and any differences will be discussed prior to the event. Flowers by faith guarantee a quality and professional service to you - our client. If you are not satisfied, I will personally investigate all complaints thoroughly.
